Due to the weather, the Kzoo Parks December to Remember holiday event scheduled for Thursday, December 12 in Bronson Park has been cancelled.
The community is invited to visit the Kzoo Parks office (251 Mills St) next week, Monday, December 16 through Thursday, December 19, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. to pick up a holiday craft bag, choose a toy, and write and drop off a letter in Santa’s mailbox. There will also be wrapping paper and knitted gloves available. All items are free and will be available while supplies last.
A letter to Santa template is available online at www.kzooparks.org/december and printed copies will also be available at the office. Santa will reply to letters that include a return address within seven days. Santa letters can also be emailed to kzooparks@kalamazoocity.org for those who aren’t able to make it into the office.
