Kik Pool

The Kik Pool is Kalamazoo’s destination for aquatic fun all summer long. The pool is located at Upjohn Park and welcomes all community members for open swimming, aqua fitness, swimming lessons, and lap swimming. The pool also hosts a swim meet every year.

The facility has restrooms and locker rooms, drinking fountains, a concession stand, picnic tables, lounge chairs, and shade areas. There is also a diving board in the deep part of the pool. Lifeguards are always on duty to make sure all guests are safe.

The Kik Pool is named after Nicholas Kik Jr., who headed the City of Kalamazoo’s Parks Department from 1950 until 1971.

If you’re planning to purchase a season pass to Kik Pool, please be sure to setup a Civic Rec account ahead of time with each family member added. This new requirement will help speed up lines and reduce wait times at the pool. We want to be sure that everyone can enjoy the pool as soon as possible and we appreciate your help!
